After more than eleven years teaching piano in Brunswick, I'm now teaching in Reservoir. Located in beautiful and peaceful Storey Road, right next to Melbourne Water Reservoirs—I'm close to Plenty Road, High Street, and Reservoir Station, close to Preston and Kingsbury, and not far from Bundoora, Thomastown, Heidelberg West, or Bellfield.
I am AMEB-qualified and I've taken students through AMEB exams with honours results. I've taught students of all ages—from children of four, to adults in their seventies, many of them total beginners—from primary school & high school children who are beginners, to students who want to learn more or do their next AMEB grade; from adult beginners, to adults returning after a number of (possibly many) years!
My lessons cover many different styles—everything from classical to contemporary and the latest pop/rock. I tailor piano lessons for you—you can learn to play your favourite songs, learn to play chords, learn to read music, learn music theory, or prepare for an AMEB exam.
With me you will have a patient and experienced piano teacher—a multi-instrumentalist with long and diverse experience playing, performing, studying, and writing and recording music—45 years playing piano and guitar, and I draw on this experience in teaching you anything that you want to learn!
I offer a range of different length piano lessons—you can enjoy learning piano at a pace that suits you! I hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Historically, my piano students have come from the inner north of Melbourne—now I can cater to the northern suburbs: Reservoir, Preston, Bundoora, Kingsbury, Heidelberg West, Bellfield, Coburg North, Fawkner, and Thomastown.
